Angela Pickard
242 Kerr Street, Unit 2, Oakville, ON , L6K 3B2
Angela Pickard focuses on the processes as much as the outcomes of family mediation. A focal point for Angela working with clients is their mental health and well-being during the process of conflict resolution as well as with clients' families, friends and workplace as separation, divorce, and mediation itself can be a stressful experience. She facilitates the mediation process in a hopeful, neutral and respectful manner. Angela continually observes how mediation can be a very helpful and productive avenue for clients experiencing various levels of conflict.
As a Family Professional, Angela practices on teams with clients and their lawyers as a neutral family specialist providing facilitation, mediation and coaching.
Angela Pickard is an Accredited Family Mediator (Acc.FM. OAFM) with an Advanced Certificate in Conflict Management and Mediation from Conrad Grebel University College, University of Waterloo. She completed her internship with Riverdale Mediation in Toronto mediating cases with various mediators both on-site at the Family Law Information Centre (FLIC) and off-site.
As a Board Member of the OACP, Angela focuses on practices and procedures as well as facilitating a bi-monthly group meeting for Family Professionals.
