Throughout the workshop series, we will work with our case studies and yours, as we explore a reflective approach to deepen your understanding of the interplay between theory and skills. We will provide you with a framework to make thoughtful and intentional choices about whether or not to intervene and, if so, which intervention to try.
Join us in the first workshop of the Deepen and Elevate your Mediation Skills series where we focus on Managing the Clients and the Process.
Deepen your knowledge, resources and skills to manage the clients and process more effectively, from the all-important intake process, through joint mediations sessions, to individual coaching, to finalizing the terms of the settlement, particularly in the following situations:
- the between session ‘email creep’ and the being copied / forwarded with texts
- the disengaged, ambivalent or passive client
- the flip-flopping client
- the enmeshed couple
- the ‘ambivalent about the separation’ couple
- the ADD or ADHD client
- the client who won’t get ILA
- the clients with diametrically opposed parenting styles
- the hard-done by client
- the cheering section (new spouse or extended family) not physically in the room
We don’t want this to be another workshop where you learn great new tools but then get so busy back at the office that you don’t implement any of them so, we will be hosting small group facilitated coaching calls in the weeks following the workshop to discuss follow up questions and issues or challenges in implementing the tools and concepts learned at the workshop. Registration in this workshop qualifies you to participate in these follow up calls.
